We have accommodation close to hospitals in most of the main centres. You need to have a referral from your specialist or local hospital.
Auckland - Domain Lodge
If you are travelling for cancer treatment in Auckland you can stay at Domain Lodge with a supporter. Domain Lodge is just across the road from Auckland City Hospital, the Regional Cancer and Blood Service and the Auckland Domain.
Hamilton - Cancer Society's Lions Lodge
The Cancer Society's Lions Lodge in Hamilton provides accommodation, meals and support for people who have to travel long distances for cancer treatment at the Regional Cancer Centre at Waikato Hospital.
Palmerston North - Ozanam House
Ozanam House was established to provide a home for cancer patients and their carers while receiving treatment at the Regional Cancer Treatment Service, Palmerston North Hospital. Many are often treated as out-patients.
Wellington - Margaret Stewart House
The Wellington Cancer Society's Margaret Stewart House provides you with a place to stay if you’re from out-of-town and having cancer treatment at the Wellington Blood and Cancer Centre.
Christchurch - Canterbury Cancer Centre
Our new Christchurch facility is the first of its kind, providing integrated cancer support for patients from across the South Island
Dunedin - Daffodil House
If you live more than 100 km from Dunedin and need to go to Dunedin Hospital for cancer treatment you can stay at Daffodil House.
