KNOWLEDGE IS STRENGTH
On Nov 19 we held a Kia ora – E te iwi programme at the Otara Music and Arts centre hosted by Mary Gush and local kuia and kaumātua group Independent Living. Mary does an amazing job leading this group as well as catering for everyone on the day.
13 whānau attended the event, and there was a strong team of people from Cancer Society and from Tōtara Hospice, as well as Matua Hone Ratana who demonstrated his Rongoā practice.
