No cash? No problem. This year we’ve made it easier than ever to donate to our Daffodil Day appeal, our most iconic and important fundraising event of the year.
‘My Daffodil’ is our new digital platform that makes it simple to donate online and share the experience with family and friends.
My Daffodil can be accessed now at www.daffodilday.org.nz or via a QR code that will be displayed on daffodils during the street appeal.
You choose your donation amount, then dedicate your digital daffodil to a loved one and ‘plant’ it anywhere on a map of New Zealand.
You can also share your digital daffodil on social media to spread the love, and encourage others to add to the sea of digital daffodils blooming across Aotearoa.
This donation method will make it easy for those who want to donate before the day or from the comfort of home.
As we celebrate the 30th anniversary of Daffodil Day, the Cancer Society’s services are more in demand than ever before - the number of people diagnosed with cancer each year has more than doubled since the first Daffodil Day in 1990.
Donations help fund cancer support services for people in the community, providing practical and meaningful assistance during some of the most challenging times in their lives.
We look forward to seeing everyone’s digital daffodils popping up throughout August, a visual representation of the hope and generosity of New Zealanders.
