About the Calf/Sheep for hope Scheme
This is the first year for Taranaki Cancer Society doing the Calf/Sheep For Hope Scheme. We will be raising money to support people with Cancer and their families in Taranaki. You can pledge livestock and when they are sold the sale price is donated to Taranaki Cancer Society.

How does it Work?

Donating livestock to the scheme is simple:

  1. Confirm your pledge with the Taranaki Cancer Society (TCS) using the form below, and we will send you a Cancer Society ear tag.
  2. Select and tag your pledged calf or sheep with both your NAIT tag/sheep tag and the TCS Tag.
  3. Raise your calf to 100kg or sheep to sale weight then inform your sales agent of the TCS pledged stock coming with your lot.
  4. Write "TCS Calf" or "TCS Sheep" on the ASD form going with your stock.
  5. Contact your local transporter to arrange collection.

Or make a Virtual livestock donation instead
Many farmers may choose to donate a virtual calf or sheep instead of pledging a specific animal. This gift can be made as a one-off donation or a regular fortnightly, monthly, or yearly gift by selecting one of the options below.
