A network of support
If you, or someone you know, has cancer, or has had cancer return, you can feel bewildered, upset and vulnerable.
With so much information to take in, you can feel overwhelmed, unsure who can help and what to do. There are so many questions to be answered and so many emotions to deal with.
Our support programmes help people affected by cancer. We offer a variety of workshops and events for people with cancer, their family/whanau and friends, helping people in different circumstances and with different needs. Our Support groups mean people can get together to share their individual experiences and gain support from others.
Support Programmes are free and are designed to help participants have a better understanding of cancer and feel more in control of their cancer experience - from diagnosis, through treatment to recovery and beyond. They enable people to be more positive during the management of their own, or someone else’s cancer.
In our workshops and support groups, people come together in a safe and supported environment, gaining knowledge, insight and strength from others. Many different programmes, events and workshops are offered locally so you can choose one that is best for you. Just Click on the links below to read more…
